Our church pulled out of the Girl Scout program many years ago. When our leaders announced at a council wide meeting that we could no longer support such a program, she received death threats.

I haven't bought a GS cookie since.

I recently pulled out of my church for some similar abuses of innocence. The United Methodist Women's New York Offices have run amok, sending letters to congress to protest the US war in Afganistan and spending "undesignated " mission funds to lobby Bill Clinton to veto the partial birth abortion bill passed by congress in his last year.
