Another FBI Agent Blows the Whistle on 9-11

FBI Special Agent Robert G. Wright Jr. will hold a news conference Thursday in Washington to reveal FBI negligence and obstruction of counterterrorism investigations targeting Hamas and al-Qaeda.

Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, said its co-counsel David Schippers would join Wright at the press conference.

"Special Agent Wright, of the FBI's Chicago Division, is the only agent in the history of the FBI to have used the civil forfeiture laws to seize over $1.4 million dollars in Hamas terrorist money in connection with a criminal investigation of terrorist money laundering operations here in the United States," Judicial Watch said.

Minneapolis FBI agent Coleen Rowley has corroborated Wright's experiences dealing with FBI headquarters and senior management, "who consistently delayed, down-played and soft-peddled the investigative efforts of counterterrorism agents in the field," the organization said.

Stay tuned.

More grandstanding (read: fundraising fodder) from Judicial Watch.

Mueller and Ashcroft announced a reorganization today, which means nobody cares what Schippers, Wright, and their pimp, Klayman, have to say.

You just love to dump on Klayman, don't you? Well,I can't really blame you as despite some successes during the Clinton years, he is something of a joke. But I think that you soil yourself in assaulting Shippers....

The problem with all this as an initial matter is the motive thing. What is the motive for not going after the bad guys?

Just a little detail that I thought I'd throw in here, then back to Schippers ---

(re; screenname "sinkspur")"I do remember back; that's the only explanation I've ever given. It comes from a Chill Wills line, when he tells Kate (Maureen O'Hara) that he just saw G.W. (John Wayne) "jump on his horse, and sink spur."

Actually, he said he "sunk spur" :-)

Now, back to Schippers................

Sure, if YOUR purpose is to make sure that none of the crimes committed during the Clinton watch ever get investigated or prosecuted.

That is what you want, isn't it, sinkspur?

Easy, "whistle blower protection". That is a gold mine. He can never be fired OR passed over for promotion from this point forward. He has it made in the shade.

Just like Linda Tripp or Notra Trulock, right?

No question that the FBI is still essentially the same as clinton left it--a corrupt mess. It's one of Bush's worst failures, not to clean up the messes clinton left in the FBI, the CIA, and the Pentagon--plus most of the other agencies.

Ashcroft went BEGGING to the congress for the authority to "clean house" as he saw fit. The Congress pretty much told him to go to hell. You cannot fire anyone because of their political affiliation anyway.

So show me the names of all those who have been arrested tried and convicted of conspiracy to commit an act of terrorism in the last 6 mos. A secret you say? Did it ever cross your mind that the secret number might be ZERO?

What if there aren't any? Ever think every one but Moussaoui's dead?

It took the Feds YEARS to catch Ted Kasczynski, and they wouldn't have gotten him if his brother hadn't turned him in.

Israel has an area the size of six counties in North Texas to patrol, the premier intelligence agency in the world in the Mossad, and they STILL can't stop all the suicide bombers and snipers.

This isn't like the Hardy Boys, sherlock.

Schippers is a snake. He could have done something about Clinton and saved a few women from being trashed but he waited until right before the election to release his book and pinned the blame more on the GOP than Clinton and the Democrats.

Alex Jones has been on this for months.

I've managed to tune into him a couple of times while traveling. I hate to call the man a kook, but he sure does a good imitation of one.

Never heard a peep out of Schippers before 9/11.

Anyone can say "Hey, I knew" after the fact.

Perhaps they were worried about their careers? After all, why rock the boat if nothing happens.

I think 9/11 may have shaken a few up and made them realize just how important little things can be when put in context and they may have felt guilt for not yelling about something a little louder.

It really seems as if there was negligence, intentional or not, and somebody needs to be held responsible. This isn't some investigation of some small-time hood or some fraud investigation, this deals wit the death of thousands.

"because he is representing a FBI agent whistleblower."

And there WILL be more. Schippers has proven himself to be fearless, honest and non-partisan.

Realizing that the FBI has loyalists from both parties that are intelligent enough to see that the extreme subverting of the Rule of Law is destroying this Nation, he'll provide an example to them.

The power of Prayer to protect those who are trying to do the Right Thing is something we can contribute.

"Well what should they do? Kill themselves?"

They can all begin by looking in a mirror...Afterall, it is only reputation of the FBI, and the security of the United States of America at stake.

Waiting untill the election lessened Schipper's chances of dying in a plane crash or comitting suicide. Can't fault the guy for being cautious.
