President Bush had a light day after an extended stay in Europe. Bush met with his brother, Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, regarding preserving the fragile Florida ecosystem. The President announced that the government will buy back parts of the Florida such as Destin Dome, and parts of the Everglades. First Lady Laura Bush was in Austin, Texas for a fund raiser for Friedman's Utopia Animal Rescue Ranch, which has adopted and placed almost 500 stray and abused animals. A gal after my own heart. Enjoy you daily dose of Dubya!

QUOTE OF THE DAY: Today's action once again demonstrates that my Administration will take seriously the views of local communities. The federal government should continue to work closely with states and local communities in solving issues that affect energy security, the economy, and the environment.

Is this a look that says, 'I know something you don't know...'

Well I wish I could take credit for them. But the majority of the photos posted are from internet sources such as yahoo.com and the Whitehouse website. On a few occasions, freepers will share their photos of the President on the dose too. That's about it!

To look at this couple, you would never know they have been travelling in several different time zones and weeks of non-stop work and entertaining. They are definately an inspiration that they draw their strength from an unseen well.

"Laura Bush was in Texas for a fundraiser for Friedman's Utopia Animal Rescue"-this is Kinky Friedman's ranch, for those who listen to Imus. Thank you, President and Mrs. Bush, for helping homeless dogs and cats. The Clinton's used their cats and dogs as photo ops and then discarded them.
