The bottom line is that despite the GOP trend in this region, the commie lib will probably win reelection. I am less partisan than most here, but Harkin is one of my least favorite senators. What a mess.

I guarantee you if Bill wins the primary, we will show no mercy toward Harkin. Bill may lose, but Harkin will be exposed. If Bill does beat Ganske, tell them boys up there to send some money our way. 85% of Harkin's comes from out of state, and you can bet the enviros will dump in everything they can. They want the farmland nationalized here ASAP.

I worked in DeMoines radio back in the 1960's My impression back then was that Iowa would not elect Stalin... Trotsky was more their style. Gorby was a little to far to the right.
