All cultures are equal. Who are we to cast judgment? If this is how they choose to carry out their religious practices, who are we to judge?

We should welcome other cultures to establish themselves in America and free them from poverty. We owe them that debt.

Our strength is our diversity!

As usual, IronJack, you are dead on. You should hear the stories my friend from South Africa tells me. These folks have to be inspired by evil.

"Slavery continues in Africa. Slavery of blacks enslaved by Arabs and slavery of blacks enslaved by other blacks. But you didn't hear anything about today's modern slavery of black Africans at the UN Conference on Racism, did you? Nooooo... they were too busy condemning slavery conducted by England and the USA two centuries ago. Nobody criticizes today's slave trade. Such criticism would be Politically Incorrect. Liberals lie. They don't care a bit about the causes they say they care about. Not one bit."

Right on the money.

The slave owners are muslims and/or other blacks. Christian blacks are still abducted and sent north and east as slaves to Sudan, Mauritania, ans Saudi Arabia. ^These are more obvious CONTEMPORARY targets, not my great, great, grandparents not one of whom was in this country before 1865.

"The Netherlands has its own disgusting culture of death and child prostitution."

Huh? Where did that come from? The people of the Netherlands don't have a culture of death and child prostitution. What a bizarre thing to say?

Are you that ignorant? The Netherlands is utterly depraved with legalized prostitution in red light districts where drugs are distributed to addicts and marijuana is sold and smoked in coffee shops. Doctors can kill their patients upon request without worrying about murder charges being filed.
Involuntary Euthanasia
World Sex Guide - the Netherlands
Prostitution has never been illegal in the Netherlands. Since 1988, it has been officially defined as a legal profession and prostitutes joined the Service Sector Union.... The age of consent is 16; you have to be 16 to be allowed to visit a prostitute

Are they actually calling this poor kid "torso boy"?

Brits. Either they address you in the third person as "the gentleman" or you are the "Elephant boy."

Oh, just half a million dollars. And though it might look as if it is made out of stone, I can assure you it is not. It is made of some kind of fiberglass resin. You can go up and knock on it and hear how hollow it is. As bad as it looks from a distance, it looks worse up close. That "artist" pulled the con job of the year on that stupid city.

Oh, it's one WORLD, all right. But it's not one CULTURE! That a culture that uses virgins' blood as a wedding sacrament and human eyeballs as costume jewelry deserves the same respect -- or even tolerance -- as one that promotes the individual dignity of Man is a conceit I can't accept. Though it's fallen out of usage, there is still some value in the word "savage."

Slavery continues in Africa. Slavery of blacks enslaved by Arabs and slavery of blacks enslaved by other blacks.

There is only one word for this, reparations.
