If they were girls (especially blonde) they were more than likely kidnapped by the Saudis to be used as playthings and then dropped out of a flying helicopter in a remote desert location when whichever 'prince' was bored with them.

The mid-east and Africa are hell holes and we would be at no great loss if we nuked the whole place.
