Shermy, I think you gave us another possible clue in your #17 on that thread. Your info from the Regional Forensic Center included the info:
The Regional Forensic Center is located in newly constructed, state-of-the-art facilities completed in 1999. The Forensic Center is under the direction of Sandra Elkins, M.D., who is not only a board-certified forensic pathologist, but also holds the appointment of Knox County medical examiner.
This tells us that there are at least two forensic pathologists there (Dr. Sandra Elkins and Dr. O. C. Smith), though there are probably more. (You don't build a state-of-the-art center for a mom and pop operation.)
So, while the center has conducted various autopsies that may have provided motive, our search can probably be narrowed to only those cases assigned to Dr. O.C. Smith. I looked back through my notes and couldn't find a ME of record for Smith's autopsy. I also don't know who did Wiley's.
