Maybe some people can't tell the difference between a Christian Arab American and a Muslim Arab foreigner because they don't know enough about either ----it's not race that would be the criteria as much as other indicators ---language is one of the best. I can usually tell a Canadian from an American and I can tell a Michigan accent from an Ohio accent. I can tell a Puerto Rican from a Mexican or a Spaniard very easily ---not by racial features though.

Well, I'm down here in Pierce County. Bremerton does seem like a possiblity. Ft. Lewis and McChord are probably not likely as they are both pretty secure. Whidbey is a scary thought- husband's grandparents live in Oak Harbor.

My husband and I were just discussing how many more obviously Muslim people we've noticed since 9/11. It could be that we're more perceptive, now, but I don't think that's it. Has anyone else up here noticed more of them than there used to be?

The hospital is not the primary target. They will hit the hospital to assure that the injured will not recieve treatment. The Sears Towers, primary target?

1) All of the Muslims and/or Arabs to have taken part in terrorist attacks on the US, within the US, in the history of the country, can be comfortably counted on the fingers and toes of 2-3 people.

WRONG!!!! The attack on WTC in '93 and again on 9/11/01 were organized by MANY Arab Muslims working together and funding the project over a long period of time. I would venture to say at least 100 and maybe 200 Muslims were involved throughout the plots.

This is significant and this type of threat possibility needs to be publicized. Emergency departments are ready-made for walk-in suicide bombers, especially if they appear to be bleeding already!

Hospitals make a lot of sense as a secondary target. It would be a rallying point for emergency workers after a primary target was hit. Its good to see that people at the hospitals are keeping their heads up and eyes open.

Only when my daughter had surgery at Childrens the first week in Feb. Her roommate's family and doc were muslim. It was odd for us. They were very nice people though. Except the doc who caught me staring at his name tag, "Mohammed" and gave me the evil eye for it.
But none in Auburn, really.

That is unfortunately an excellent fact. I once witnessed a guy with a gun sit in his ER room for several hours before the gun was discovered.
