Every evening as the sun goes down, I hold my 7-month old daughter in my arms by the front door, flick on the light for our Flag out front, and recite the Pledge of Allegiance.
I pray that it will always be so, and she will do the same for her childern.

What a truly wonderful thing to do. What a special event this must be for you AND your 7 mo old baby daughter. She will remember this for the rest of her life and will one day do the same for her child/children. You are very special and inspiring. I hope all mothers and fathers reading this will take up this same special event with their children. God bless you and God bless America!!!

We recite the pledge before starting school every day. My son also reads the Preamble. We read it for real when we went to the inauguration...I could barely speak.
