3 names come to mind : Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and Al Gore. Technically, all 3 of them came from "Rebel" states...

Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and Al Gore

And not a one of them, except maybe Jimmy, espoused anything close to Southern values. I feel sorry for Carter. He was too nice of a guy to be POTUS and in his old age, he's starting to believe and act out all the crap the liberals spew.

Well that's true. But, as a Virginian, I need to point out that we didn't vote for any of them. We were the only southern state not to vote for Carter and we haven't voted for a RAT in the White House since 1964.

All three of those are what we Southerners call "scalawags". Any of them is about as much a rebel as Arlen Spector is.
