While I knew what a shakedown artist Jackson was, what surprised me in Timmerman's book is how much Jesse Jackson tried to undermine Reagan and interfered in foreign affairs. Another surprise was how cozy he was/is with communists.

Surprised me too, but it all adds up, he's a hard core lefty and a maggott to boot. Are those terms synonymous?
