ADL Jumps into Bigotry Pit with NAACP
In a recent article on CNSNews.com, it was pointed out that the Anti-Defamation League [ADL] was labeling an event called 'FreedomFest' an 'extremist' event. What was so 'extreme' about this event? Well, it was oriented towards people who believe in the 2nd Amendment, and think people have a right to keep the money they earn rather than passing it on to government. On top of that, the event is scheduled for July 4th. I guess the ADL considers that date some kind of pagan holiday, thus deserving of contempt.
Based on comments from organizers of the event, FreedomFest is simply your typical Independence Day celebration, but angling to draw like-minded people together for the day. To me, the only real difference in this event from other Independence Day events is that this celebration plans on focusing on the actual purpose of the holiday: Independence, freedom, and how our forefathers established our constitutional guarantees for them.
The ADL's action of labeling this celebration an 'extremist' event is not based on any facts, but on their socialistic worldview, and their antagonism toward anything that might possibly be related to the foundations of America. This is ironic since the ADL mission statement says they are dedicated to "exposing and combating the purveyors of hatred in our midst." Sounds to me as if the ADL ought to put themselves on their 'extremist' list.
The ADL has lumped FreedomFest in with white supremacist groups and some of their events. The only apparent reason for this, based on their comments, is because FreedomFest is attempting to attract people who revere the Constitution and our God-given rights. What that has to do with white supremacy I don't know, but the ADL apparently has decided that love of liberty, cherishing our rights, reverence for our Constitution, and white supremacy are all the same thing.
All the actions of the ADL concerning FreedomFest place this organization squarely in the same camp as the NAACP [as if this was any surprise.] That camp is the Socialist Bigot's Camp.' How you get to be a member of the 'Socialist Bigot's Camp' is that you boldly declare yourself not to be a bigot, and prove this by pointing the 'bigotry finger' at everyone else that doesn't look like you or think like you, and call them a bigot [is that contradictory or what?.] Anyone who doesn't fall strictly in line with your thinking is a bigot [this definition allows for flexibility in identifying bigots based on whatever situation is at hand. Very convenient!.]
The venomous hatred that spills from the lips of people with the ADL and the NAACP gets lots of play in the mainstream media. The funny thing about it is that those words of hate are portrayed as being appeals for tolerance and inclusiveness, when in reality they are exclusionary and racist. The old saying, 'methinks he doth protest too much,' fits the ADL and the NAACP here. Simply put, they are bigots claiming to identify bigots; the height of hypocrisy.
Just like the NAACP, the ADL was once an organization that actually served a useful purpose. But today, the ADL is just another socialistic, victimology-oriented, cash-generating outlet for bigots in PC clothing who are using their racism and bigotry to get rich. The ADL doesn't stand up for Judaism or Jews. Instead, it uses them to advance their Marxist agenda and line their own pockets. Hey, I know everyone's got to make a living [unless you're a professional welfare recipient,] but does the ADL have to do it by creating divisiveness and advocating hatred of traditional American values?

Pete McCloskey, R-California, a $150,000 court judgment against the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).
The lawsuit came after raids were made by the San Francisco Police Department and the FBI on offices of the ADL in both San Francisco and Los Angeles, which found that the ADL was engaged in extensive domestic spying operations on a vast number of (Conservative) individuals and institutions around the country.
The ADL, which calls itself a civil rights group, continued to claim it did nothing wrong in monitoring their activities.
Be that as it may, since that are not as many preaching racists as it used to be, now they have to be invented. So now anyone who has "nationalist ideals must be some kind of a racist. What an insult.

FreedomFest

I am planning to speak on behalf of Armed Females of America at FreedomFest a little later this year, a five-day fourth of July festival in Dry Fork, Arkansas, being presented by Wayne Hicks of 4th Branch (We, The People).
The Anti Defamation League, always extremely liberal, has labeled this an "extremist," "bigoted" and "anti-Semitic" event.
But "anti-Semitic" hurts. It is pure slander, and I am very tempted to sue the living pants off of every one of those ADL toadies who support these allegations.
How utterly and tragically pitiful. I disagree with their political views, therefore I must be the slimiest sort of racist.

(Sort of like having Big Brother you, huh?) I don't like some of these groups myself, but this is kind of creepy, having the ADL watching and keeping a list of folks they don't like.

Excerpt:
DEMONIZING EXPONENTS OF JEWISH VALUES
Lack of sympathy frequently translated into lack of civility. For example, at several meetings, there were objections that Dr. Laura Schlesinger's radio program and planned TV program was offensive and insensitive to homosexuals. I pointed out that her views enunciate traditional Jewish values which deserve the support of a Jewish defense organization, and was greeted with derision and intemperate, hostile responses. When it came to the issue of homosexuals versus the Boy Scouts, ADL chose the homosexuals, all the way to the Supreme Court.
Then, in its otherwise commendable nationwide partnership with Barnes and Noble in the program Hate Hurts, which sponsors books and educates teachers and young children to fight hate, the ADL endorsed the books Heather Has Two Mommies and Steve Has Two Daddies as suitable tools for teaching tolerance to young children. Teachers' workshops and children's reading groups were organized, using these and other books in conjunction with the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), which had earlier achieved a certain notoriety for its own school workshops wherein teenagers were taught the fine points of "fisting" and other homosexual practices.
The Anti Defamation League (ADL), arm of the B'nai B'rith has recently chastised Gore running mate Joseph Lieberman (an Orthodox Jew) for openly discussing his religious beliefs.
"We feel very strongly" went the statement by ADL chairman Berkowitz and national director Foxman, "and we hope that you would agree, that appealing along religious lines, or belief in God, is contrary to the American ideal." (ADL)

"...do we need an organization like the ADL with an obvious political agenda, to compile data on Americans, no matter how revolting they may be? The ADL, like LAMBDA, has a view of the world that is quite a bit different from most of us. Yet, they attempt to portray their views as those of most Americans. Files, dossiers, lists, that's pretty scary stuff. The most alarming part of the ADL's efforts is that anyone or organization they don't like can be painted as extremist."
"I was amazed to see a well-purposed organization like the League of the South listed among groups like the Aryan Nation and the KKK. This is nothing but SICK, SICK, SICK." In point of fact, each has been fulfilling a Fabian Socialist role, intended to tear Americans apart, since they were founded in 1909 and 1913, respectively.
There comes a time when naivete must give way to educated perception. And that time is long since past with respect to these premier hate organizations. (See Creating Hate In America Today, and How To Recognize The Bigot In The Argument.)

We need to get away from sounding apologetic when we put phonies down--regardless of the sensitivity of the issue. The Glass letter did a first rate job of saying what needed to be said, and with my slight criticism above, I commend you for posting it.

How do you get this? There is no National Association of White People that can freely operate without reproach. There is no Miss White America. There are no quotas for white people. We do not have a white Jesse Jackson that can spew throw up defending white teenage thugs simply because of their skin color. How is is that you see one race promoting itself over another - at the expense of another, complete with the government's blessings, and the proliferation of racist groups such as the Black Panthers, Rainbow Coalition and the NAACP as "coming a long way"? Just because the color of the "supremist" has changed does NOT mean we have come a long way.
That is a limited point of view. I didn't have the time to finsh. There is another thread today, "Changing History to meet our Emotions", where I posted By now the NAACP and others similar should be unnessary or be reorganzed arould the name National Association for the Advancement of All People.
If the bar were raised to that point we really would have come a long way. In any case the new NAAAP would probably be a discustingly liberal outfit.(;->)
