Otis died in a plane crash. Nice of you to mention Pig Pen....I did like the Grateful Dead in the early to mid 70s....but drugs wore them out as well. Their keyboard players were all cursed.

They didn't all die from drug overdoses. Maybe not even most of them. Mama Cass for instance,died from choking on her own vomit while sleeping. I don't do drugs or drink,and I've almost had this happen several times. The most recent was just last week.
