"IF You Want Blood" -- the seedies' live album with Bon just before the bottle did him in. Just slipping into the cd drive now.

When my wife was pregnant with our son, we used to put he headphones on her belly and give junior a taste of Whole Lotta Rosie and Live Wire and Let There Be Rock. Really used to get the little guy kickin'!

And you know what he listens today at the advanced age of 15? Rap!!!!

His old man's worried. We brought him up straight and decent on Angus and Bon and Rudd, and now he fills the house with Eminem.

What's happening to the younger generation! Lord save us all from degenerate youth.

Well, most I know in the younger generation listen to about anything(outside country). One minute AC/DC is on the CD player, Eminem the next, NWA after that, then Doors, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pink Floyd, and DMX.

My favorite is Bonfire Box set - With the Live "Let there be Rock" CD with the Bonfire set. "Live Wire, Highway to Hell" all live. There was an Atlantic Records live one as well in the box set with a great version of "Problem Child".

I like the Brian Johnson stuff as well, but Bon Scott was the man by far.

The Detroit radio station had a countdown recently on the best Rock songs of all time. "You Shook Me All Night Long" was ranked number one.

I liked that post!!! Funny... but in a bittersweet sort of way.

Ah, the youth of today, where did we fail them??!

Lemme ask ya somethin' if you don't mind.

It certainly sounds like you did the right thing, but did your boy ever like AC/DC? Or did you force it on him?

I ask this because my 7 year old boy's favorite song is "For Those About to Rock," and his favorite band is The Thunder from Down Under. He spits venom at (c)rap music. And I will move Heaven and earth to keep it this way.

Do I have a chance?
