DEERFIELD BEACH - Janet Reno, joined by actor Martin Sheen for a weekend campaign blitz, criticized Gov. Jeb Bush's record on education and the state's handling of children in its care.

More than 750 people at a rally in a retirement community here chanted "Reno, Reno" and held up placards in support of the former U.S. attorney general as she attempts to unseat Bush, a Republican.

I shall always think of Martin Sheen as he appeared on our evening news here in New Mexico as he lifted the police tape to belly under and be arrested.

He came into fly-over country to go up the hill to Los Alamos to the National Laboratory where the Manhattan Project designed the atomic bomb.

Sheen appeared there at the police tape with a motley band of rent-a-riot gypsies to sing (ve-ery off-key) "The Lord's Prayer". When the news cam caught him going under the police tape his enormous belly was center-screen.

Yet this fat piece of crap is not found demonstrating in Russia, China, North Korea, India, Pakistan, France, England or elsewhere.

He would that Hirohito had the bomb, that Josef Stalin and Mao Tse-tung had the bomb, that the tens and hundreds of thousands of American soldiers been killed invading the Japanese mainland.

There is no consistency to his alcohol-destroyed synapse-firings: no bomb, perhaps no America in the face of a nuclear Soviet Union, hence no Hollywood free to thumb its nose at government, military, morals, patriotism.

And his "hero" is the diesel dyke who sent the Delta Force to place the shaped charge on the roof of the Concrete Room, blowing a concave hole down on twenty-plus women and children cowering there, blowing their brains out with concussion and chunks of concrete, turning them into twisted briquets with the hideous effects of the gas and the searing flame of that flammable methylene chloride additive.

Martin Sheen, a chancre drooling over the excrescent enabler of the traitor-rapist, the swamp thing with delirium tremens, Renocerous.

I really have to wonder sometimes why Reno is even running.

Her human rights record sucks, She's passed out in public (not a real great confidence booster) multiple times and the Cuban emigre vote is probably going go 100% the other way to any other candidate that gets put on the ballot besides her.

Maybe Reno figures she can get some cheap shots in by being seen with celebrities.

The DNC strategists must be racking their brains trying to figure out a way how to market her.

Has Reno actually been nominated yet? I don't remember any news about a primary or convention there. I hope it takes place soon because I want the FL democrats locked into Reno as a candidate. I am afraid they might actually wake up and choose one of her opponents for the nomination. At any rate, Bush will win because his record is so strong, but I really want to make sure that Reno runs against him and gets buried in Nov. One more small nail in the Clintonista coffin (and it's gonna take a whole lotta nails).

This just occurred to me. Do you suppose Sheen actually rode in the truck with Reno to her campaign events? I would guess not. Somehow I don't think tv stars ride around in little red trucks with gawky old ladies.

The primary isn't until September. That's good news for Bush as long as Reno is the nominee. There's no run-off by the way.

If Reno isn't the nominee, it'll be McBride. McBride's run a smart campaign for the general election by refusing to pander to the liberals who form the corps of the Democratic Party. Since he won't promise to turn the state over to the homosexuals, the trial lawyers and the teachers' union he's got a really tough road to the nomination. If he gets it though, he'll be able to at least pretend to be a middle of the road Democrat and will pose a threat to Bush. If it's a Bush - Reno race, Bush will probably win 70 - 30.
