Well, he likes to encourage people and let them know he is pleased, but it cracks me up because he has said it to General Pace (when he was nominated), young kids who speak in front of him, welfare moms, and heads of state. I always watch for it, because I think it is a charming habit.

It is so affirming, and such a wonderful, but simple way to make others feel good.

The "Good Job" must be a Texas thing. My hubby, a native Texan says the same thing to everyone!
The Texans seem to have a language all their own, and it is full of colorful sayings that are mostly foreign to this native Californian!
Not meaning that Good Job is, but there are so many others that are charming, but native to Texas!
