Pakistan trading nuke secrets with Saudis?
worldnetdaily ^

U.S. intelligence sources are convinced that Pakistan is trading nuclear secrets with Saudi Arabia in exchange for cash to maintain and expand its missile programs.

While Pakistan has acquired the expertise and the material to make nuclear bombs, it doesn't have the money for the infrastructure or the development of intermediate-range missiles to deliver the weapons.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia does not want to get caught as the only major power in the Persian Gulf without nuclear weapons and missiles.

So, the sources said, Riyadh has been pumping hundreds of millions of dollars for Islamabad's missile and nuclear programs.

The Saudi money is meant for the development of the Ghauri intermediate-range missile. The missile has a Pakistani name but actually is a close derivative of the North Korean No-Dong missile. Pakistan has developed several versions of the Ghauri.

Over the weekend, Islamabad announced the first such Ghauri test since 1999. This missile, also known as Hatf-V, has a range of 1,500 kilometers (930 miles) and is capable of carrying nuclear weapons.

But Pakistan requires Saudi money for a much longer range missile. This would be able to reach a distance of 3,500 kilometers (2,170 miles) and enable Pakistan to strike virtually every major Indian city with nuclear warheads.

What do the Saudis want in return? Riyadh wants Pakistan to send the kingdom turn-key systems and help in developing a nuclear infrastructure to quickly assemble nuclear bombs.

Guess we'll have to nuke Saudi, too. It's a bonus.

We'd be crazy to think bin Laden couldn't get nukes from one of those sources. Time to act.

Flatten them both and we can have $2 cashmere sweaters and nickel gasoline. I don't see a downside since we will have to do this sooner or later anyway.

Ping.

Maybe an Islamic bomb does make sense after all. If two (or more countries) each make a contribution towards something that couldn't come about without their cooperation, it stands to reason that the deal would be structured so that all parties benefit. [In this case, apparently Pakistan is supplying technical know-how regarding atomic weapons, and Saudi Arabia is said to be supplying capital for further missile development.]

"inevitable"

Agreed. This has gone beyond Islamicism to Nationalism and legitimate interests.

Our different worlds are on a collision course and nothing can stop it. Bin Laden, that evil genius, has set in motion the events leading to WWIII. Every Arab and Islamic country knows that the only way they can protect their power, culture and society.....rotten infestations on the world....is with WMD. The ultimate terror.

Pakistan set the example vs India. Pakistan got nuclear technology from China and missile technology from N Korea.

In order to maintain access to the bulk of the worlds pumping oil without regard to any other factor (supreme strategic interest), the US will do whatever is necessary. This will lead to the deaths of many, perhaps the destruction of an entire civilization. It will be known as the great Asian war: The US, Israel, India and Russia vs the Islamic nations, N Korea and perhaps China. Europe, Africa and S America will be mostly neutral. It'll take us a couple-a-three years to get there, like all great wars, but I'm convinced that's where we're going.

GW better mean what he says about pre-emption and NMD or there'll be alot of us dead too.

Clash of Civilizations? Bet on it.......

You know the funny thing about Pakistan?? They spend their whole life trying to emulate and win the favor of the arabs, like helping with nuke arsenals. However, the arabs will always look down on Pakistanis, the Pakistanis in the Gulf states are virtual slaves to the arabs. In other words, the Pakistanis are the Arab's BITCHES.
