In Calif the max is $330 a week. I have been out of work since Feb and my benefits run out in Oct. with the extra 13 weeks included. I have advanced degrees in engineering and have been in the industry way over 20 years. The most I have ever been without a job before is three days. Now I can't even get a job as a bartender. I know cause I have tried. I have about 150 resumes out and have had 3 interviews. Companies have raised the bar so high that the worlds expert at what I do (which I'm pretty close to) would not get hired. I am facing losing everything I have worked for in my life if I don't get a job in the next 60 days. Sure I could work for Burger King but that won't pay the mortgage. Most of my saving was in the stock market, and with the most recent crash, most of that is gone too. For those that think that jobs are out there better think again and thank God they have one.

Seeing that you are from Florida, I assume that's where you'll be applying. Taking from the state unemployment FAQ, I get the following:

The amount you receive each week depends on how much you earned each week while you were employed. It usually turns out to be about half of your average weekly salary, but cannot be more than $275 per week. If you averaged less than $64 per week, you may not qualify. The formula is a little complicated. We’ll figure it out for you and show it on the Wage Transcript. Basically, we consider the wages you earned during the first four of the last five completed calendar quarters at the time you file your claim. On your Wage Transcript, this time period is called the "Base Period." ...

There's more on their FAQ at

I'm where you will be. The best advice I can give you is to make your resume very searchable. Compress your skills to buzzwords that will trigger text searches. Compress it so it can be scanned within thirty seconds with further details lower on the page. Then, post it everywhere, and I do mean everywhere.

Aside from that, keep your chin up and count your blessings. You'll get another job; you might take a cut in pay or security but things will recover eventually. Compettion is fierce right now but you can win but you've got to keep fighting.

(I myself am up for a job today, as a matter of fact...)
