I'm not familiar with the book. Is it a biography of the Hildebeest or Bill?

It is a classic. Get it and read it. It isn't a bio of anyone in particular, although it will leave you with no doubt whatsoever that the Rapist and the Enabler are truly evil, by Peck's definition.
