Not sure what to make of this. I missed the testimony due to thunderstorms in the area. (Is this a good day to die? LOL!)

A series of calls from Westerfield's cell phone in early February appeared to mirror his rambling motor home trip to the beaches of southern San Diego County ...

It don't fit. Any half-way rational person would be nuts to stash a kidnapped child, either dead or alive, in a highly visable motor home and then drive it to a very popular public park only to then park smack dab in the middle of a group of other sardined-in, moble home vactioners.

The van Dam's have testified the dog was raised around others that had been "debarked."

Damon changed the story on the dog several times. Why?

Perhaps because he didn't want to really tell the truth. Perhaps the reason the dog appeared "quiet, docile, shy, scared" is the Damon debarked the dog. How? Kick it in the face every time it barks. He wouldn't do this. NO? Well, There was testimony in the PH (I went back and looked it up) that the dog had a nosebleed cause it 'ran into' Damon's leg.

I have tried to watch some of this on Court TV, but the anti-male, uterofacisists like Nancy Grace are impossible to watch.

With all due respect...Tow Truck Drivers have very astute hearing....as did some of the "hunters" in Deliverance!!!

With all due respect, FresnoDa, how can you justify what tow truck drivers have astute hearing. If anything, due to the noise they are constantly around, they probably have a small amount of hearing loss.

"Is there any point to which you wish to draw my attention?" asked Watson
"To the curious incident of the dog in the night-time"
"The dog did nothing in the night-time"
That was the curious incident," remarked Sherlock Holmes from Silver Blaze

On another board, there's a whole thread devoted to Nancy Grace's "errors." Her manner is a whole other thing. I try to hit the mute button when she comes on.

(And yes, folks, if you're wondering, I'm trying my hand at freepacide. If I can't post where I want, why bother with posting "privileges" at all?)

re: Sherlock Holmes

My husband and I were discussing this quote today! Hubby also remarked as to how some of the police elements seen so far in this case bear a striking resemblance to Lestrade - in terms of job performance, of course.

No, he didn't say that. He said he heard a voice.

The tow truck driver also said he was near the running engine of the vehicle when he thought he heard the voice and that's why he had to walk around it and ask Westerfield if he had said something to him. I also noticed that the prosecution didn't directly ask him if the talking sounded like a child's voice or an adult voice to him.

And then there's the issue of the tow truck driver refusing to talk to the defense investigators unless he first got the balance of the money that Westerfield owed him for the tow ...
