Val, you are some great photographer...your pics are just all so wonderful...

My son really enjoyed using his camera on his around the world trip, and his shots were really spectacular...he likes photography so much, that he is taking a course, now, tho I am not sure where...somewhere up in the Seattle area...he is really into photography now, for a hobby...

My dad loved photography also, tho he never seemed to be able to interest me or my brother in it, other than taking the usual shots of the kids...

My dad had a huge arsenal of different cameras, and lots of very old cameras, he liked to tinker with....so I am just going to give all those cameras, to my son...I think he will get a kick out of them, even if he does not really use them...

Well we share a bit in common sort of. My dad had a major stroke when I was 3 and died of another when I was 11. Grew up taking care of him...he was paralyzed on his right side and lost his speech. Never complained once...amazing man. He was just pissed that his life turned out that way...you could tell...he just loved life so much.

Any more on the Hilton's favorite Opecker Prince/Son whatever?

We had an al Fuqra training camp near Fresno, Ca. posing as a Black Muslim encampment of peace. They existed due to the $'s, millions they brought in bia a phoney charter school.

Clovis Skeptic blew the whistle on them last November during our Nov/Dec fund raiser. All hell broke loose, and the Rats in Sacramento were forced to cancel the charter school payments. Without those millions and the publicity, the Kill Americans and Jews love and peace camp is now closed.

Blowing the whistle in the al Qeada rapists/mass murderers and re the al Fuqra encampment near Fresno, Ca may be the most vital aspect of being a Freeper until we rid our land of terrorists.

We need a vibrant and strong Free Republic to be able to drag al Qeada murders/rapists and the home grown terrorists out into the cleansing light of exposure and truth. We must donate to Free Republic and be observant and vigilant re the terrorists amongst us.

Looks like we do have a lot in common .. my dad was diagnosed when I was 2/3 yrs old .. at first they gave him 3 days to live .. then it was three months and then 6 months

He fought and lived another 5 years ..

This may sound odd .. But I am glad God gave him those extra years and the memories I have of him .. I will always cherish them

Same here. My father was given 24-48 hrs. I ALWAYS am saying he wanted me to have a memory of him. Age 3...had he been taken then...my memory would have been little if at all.

Remember, every dollar you give ruins a liberal's whole day.

I love this. I'm going to try to see if Badjoe will put it up on the graph. I hope you don't mind if it's not attributed to you, I don't think there's room. It's great!

We had a great afternoon, dinner and evening.

My grand daughter (age 3) didn't really want me to keep my Father's Day Card and the envelope that she helped to decorate. I told her that it would be placed in special sack on a shelf in her "library" next to Papa's chair. She will check it out on her next trip up!

The 15 month old Grandson could care less about cards as long as he could hold our hands or wrestle with Papa or be swung beside his sister by the grandparents for an hour or two.

Our DIL and son created a great and interesting meal. She made a home made pizza crust and divided the rolled dough into small individual pizza crusts. My son grilled these crusts for a minute on each side after brushing both sides with virgin olive oil. Then, we added the chicken he had grilled earlier and sliced/diced, arogulia, charcoaled corn/ red and golden peppers and artichoke hearts topped with grated Italian cheeses the way we wanted it on a small individual pizza with some home made fresh tomato/basil/garlic sauce over the crust and over the top of the additions.

My son put them back on the grill for 2-3 minutes depending on how thick we heaped the ingredients. They were delicious and even the kids liked their mini pizzas with less toppings.

Nothing is better than fun, fine food, and family sharing the fun, the food and enjoying each other.

Good night, this tired and happy Grampa is heading to bed. I will not be able to lift my right arm after swinging, lifting, wrestling, flipping, holding, hugging, squeezing and the other things I did with my grand kids today. No problem and I will be happy to be sore tomorrow.

Take care Freeper Babes and happy Fathers Day to all Freeper Dads/Grampas out there.

Here's a bump for the thread. I just wrote out my check and am snail mailing it Monday. Sorry it took so long to get in on the action...I've been tearing up my kitchen for two weeks. (Boy, is it a mess around here.)
