What do we know about the enemies of America right now? We know they are willing to commit suicide in order to kill thousands of Americans and destroy major landmarks. We know their leaders have been trying to acquire or manufacture weapons of mass destruction. And we know they are mostly Arab and all are diehard Islamists.
Americans and others in Western nations have been trying very hard to understand Arabs and their fellow Muslims since September 11, 2001.
A glimpse into the Arab mind can be found in what their newspapers publish and on their radio and television. Suffice it to say that their view of the world is diametrically opposite that of Americans and other Western nations. It doesn’t mere distort reality, it is unconnected to reality.
At the heart of their message is an egotism that equates being Muslim with having higher moral standards than any other people on the face of the earth. On any day, a visit to the Middle East Media Research Institute is very instructive. There you may read translations of what Arabs throughout that region of the world are reading. In doing so, the Institute provides a window into their minds.
On May 30th, for example, writing in the Egyptian daily, Al-Usbu, Kamal Sa’ad, a columnist, had this to say of Condoleeza Rice, the National Security Advisor to President Bush: "She is suited only to work at a nightclub or to make her bed in the heart of the jungles and forests of Brazil, as a predatory woman!"
To Americans, Dr. Rice is a shining example of how an African-American woman can rise to the highest level of our government, but to Kamal Sa’ad her achievements are nothing. Indeed, he goes on to say that all American Presidents were controlled by their wives or other women. "The American president, Bill Clinton, with the most famous scandal regarding women, was in love with the childish Jewish Madeleine Albright, the Secretary of State. He would make no decision without getting the approval of this woman, who became notorious for her short garments that often caused embarrassment when she met political dignitaries. She, too, in the end, followed the same path, describing the Palestinian resistance as terror, and she spared no efforts in her support of Israel!" For the record, Albright tried to bring about an independent Palestinian state.
"These are some bad examples of the women who rule America. We thank Allah that there are no similar (women) in our Arab world, otherwise our lives---we men---would be absolute hell and we would become prisoners to the declarations of Condoleeza Rice and other vulgar women!"
This viewpoint is, at first reading, so bizarre that one is tempted to brush it aside as merely the ravings of this columnist, but its message is rooted in the utter contempt for women that is found throughout the world of Islam. It reflects the way women in many Arab and Muslim nations are mere chattels with few or no rights whatever. The profound fear, contempt, and distrust of women that lives in the hearts of Arab (Muslim) men controls their lives, no less than those of the women in their societies.
It is noteworthy, therefore, that the real revolution occurring in Arab societies these days is being led by women who have been fortunate to receive an education, to learn more of the world outside their own, and who are challenging the status quo. It should be said that, in a number of Arab nations, women are able to secure an education and some even teach in their universities. These women are among the most courageous people at work in the Middle East today. The rest are among the most oppressed in the world.
Throughout the Middle East, however, the truth about the events that shape foreign and domestic policies is either unknown or twisted in ways that leave Americans astonished. Take, for example, a meeting in Saudi Arabia of an Arab League think tank on April 8th. The Zayed Center for Coordination and Follow Up hosted a lecture by a French author, Theirry Meyssan, promoting his book, "The Appalling Fraud."
To summarize Meyssan’s speech, he asserted that both the US Congress and US press covered up the truth of 9-11 by not investigating it. He told the audience that the White House’s Old Executive Building was bombed, as was a third building in Manhattan. He told them that bin Laden was not involved and had previously been an agent for the CIA. And get this: the "American military" was responsible for the attacks, said Meyssan, adding that it was possible that the planes were "remotely controlled", that no hijackers were needed, and that the lists of the passengers on those ill-fated planes were false. His speech was reported in the April 10th edition of "The Saudi Gazette" and elsewhere in the April 9th edition of Khaleej Times, published in the United Arab Emirates.
These are but two examples of the river of lies in which the Arabs of the Middle East swim each day. That river, likes all the lies, empties into the ocean of Islam that permits its imams and ayatollahs to impose total control over the lives of Arabs and other Muslims throughout the world who do not have access to Western news media. It is an ocean nourished by their hatred of Jews, Christians, and all other unbelievers, infidels.
Three weeks ago, Sheik Abd-al-Rahman Al Sudays, the imam of the grand mosque at Mecca was on Saudi television declaring that Jews were "pigs and monkeys" and that Muslims must unite against a worldwide conspiracy of Hindus, Christians and Jews that is threatening Islamic moral values. This is the true face of Arabic Islam.
Not one single leader of an Arab nation has ever publicly spoken out against the daily outrages of anti-Semitic speeches and writings. Their silence has signaled their compliance with this ancient excuse for everything that is wrong in their societies and the lives of their people.
People are at greatest risk from the lies they tell themselves and the Arabs have been telling themselves that their pathetic backwardness, the failure of their political systems and economies, often despite obscene oil wealth, is not their fault at all. They have earned the enmity of Americans and growing numbers of Europeans.
The events loose in the world today recommend the need to impose new leadership and a new culture on the Middle East as the only realistic means of protecting America from threats that would far exceed the attack on 9-11. President Bush’s call for peremptory action against the "axis of evil" is, ultimately, entirely defensive in nature.
Americans must shed the notion that this nation has any "Arab allies." Islam, for Muslims, is divided into Dar al Islam, the world of Islam, and Dar al Harb, the world of War. The Islamists have brought their war to our shores and now we must return it to theirs.
I guess that takes the heat of the Aztlan crowd, Greenpeace, and a few others so often bad-mouthed at FreeRepublic.

These "men" are already in "absolute hell", and due entirely because they are "prisoners to the declarations" of their own inane beliefs.
And in terms of the article, why bother 'understanding'; we know enough of their true thoughts and goals.

In the Arab world the Koran is like the Bible, the Constitution and the Encyclopedia Britannica all rolled into one.
Further I believe lying is considered a virtue in the Arab world. The "truth" there is not based in fact, but based on what you can get the other party to believe.
200 years from now, I want their children's children's children's children to cower and cringe in fear whenever they hear the sounds of jet engines overhead because their legends tell of fire from the sky.
I want them to hide in dark caves and holes in the earth, shivering with terror whenever they hear the roar of diesel engines because the tales of their ancestors talk about metal monsters crawling over the earth, spitting death and destruction.
I want their mothers to be able to admonish them with "If you don't behave, the Pale Destroyers will come for you", and that will be enough to reduce them to quivering obesience.
I want the annihilation to be so complete that their mythology will tell them of the day of judgment when the stern gods from across the sea .. the powerful 'Mericans .. destroyed their forefathers' wickedness.
Seems kind of pointless when you think about it, since they keep their populations ignorant and illiterate. Who reads this? The imams? These maggots are already completely corrupted and deep down, probably as disbelieving as we that anyone would actually listen to their senseless bloviating.
We need to adopt a similar "wall" to keep out the Islamists. Do not let any of them into this country. Not until the Islamic governments stop spreading this idiotic hatred. Let them seeth in their cesspool until they are willing to reform.
