Best I can say in real life would be that the victim was hyper and wired from the IED attack on his vehicle and the lawyer/DOD employee walked into his AO and was "attacked" as a suspect attacker and defended himself with his "digger surplus bayonet".

Now it didn't say he had the metal detector so why did he have the "digger" ?? And in my personal experience I haven't met a lawyer yet that doesn't own a cell phone. Why if it was self defense or an attack did the "lawyer " leave the scene ??

If the lawyer was at home and work when the IED was placed on the vehicle originally I'd suggest a local disgruntled employee or neighbor (the one across the road IMHO is suspect based on blood spatter discussed in the thread).

Last but not least I have a theory on violence and trauma based on what I have seen in shootings and combat. People who were raised in a very peaceful environment, never had a hand raised against them in their life, no contact sports like football or wrestling /boxing will fall to pieces physically and mentally at the first hint of pain inflicted upon em. If this Lawyer was such a human being then that will answer a lot of the weird actions like riding away, changing his clothes and bewilderment ect ect ....

Tinfoil hat theory says the goobermint beancounter contract lawyer was using the goobermint contractor to divert funds to off shore account and someone was blackmailing the other and wahlahh ! Pigsticker solution # 5.............. There ya have may SWAG !!..............

Let's say you are right about off-shore accts., etc. That doesn't explain the weirdness...rental car...BIKE...10 day vacation without the little woman....changing clothes and smiling at witness before riding off on BIKE ...BOMB!...etc.

Well I know a lot of married couples who vacation without their other half so that is possible.

The bomb placed by the lawyer is moot as his Boss said he was at work a thousand miles north I believe (exact distance unknown) when suspect device was placed.

I rent cars to vacation in to save wear and tear and get a new one if I have a breakdown within an hour versus sitting at a dealer waiting to get something "bad" fixed. So that was plausable (with me anyway :o)

The guy has a history of bike riding daily so the bike is not a question either IMHO. Even had he not taken his own I suspect he'd have rented one to enjoy the Florida Sunshine ect ect.... and exercise.

In reality I just do not know. That's why the SWAG. My serious guess is a neighbor or co-worker did the bomb planting and the lawyer stumbled into the zone of this guys panic factor and killed in self defense and ,as a lawyer knows to shut his mouth till court hearing, we just won't hear what really happened till then IMHO....

I called Brown Helicopter and asked if their sec "Daryl L. Roberts" was the chemical engineer that had worked with MSP. The woman who answered the phone said she was not familiar with the name.I told her he was listed on the form they filed with the Sec of State on 1-18-02.She said she didnt know of him. I said I would call back when some other people were back from lunch.When I called back, another woman said that their Daryl L. Roberts was not the one I was talking about.There are a lot of "Daryl L. Roberts".Maybe Brown Helo is telling the truth.But, if they are not, the Daryl L. Roberts I am talking about was into air sampling for BIO-CHEM WEAPONS. The JOINT FORCES COMMAND is doing air sampling in the region for the war on terrorism.Sooo, until I reallly believe that Brown Helicopter has a different Daryl L. Roberts as its Sec, I am saying that something about particulates in the air being monitored by DOD,through some kind of "spooky" deal with Harbour and Brown Helo, perhaps as a CIA proprietary,is somehow the reason for the killing.Are there terrorists in Pensacola?Was Harbour drugged?What were his blood levels for booze and drugs?

On the face of it Harbour's story has lots of holes in it. It is possible for him to be where he was,(it stretches credulity doesn't it?) only it seems he went directly, to this rather out of the way location. He parked his car elsewhere and rode his bike to Brown's house. The stabbing with multiple stab wounds indicates much passion or deadly intent. Did he have 'Saw Palmetto' leaves with him when arrested? His taking it to cut Saw Palmetto as a treatment for the prostrate seems too thin an excuse.

Yes."Daryl L. Roberts" is listed on the "2002 Uniform Business Report (UBR)" form filed with the Florida Sec of State on 1-18-2002.It lists under "Officers and Directors" as Secretary,Daryl L. Roberts.It also "changes" from Sec, a John H. Lane. Is this the John H Lane I found as a Lt.Col in the Air Force?Is this the deceased John H.Lane I found? I will try to find out more about Lane. For me, the priority is to determine if the Daryl L. Roberts of Brown Helicopter is the Daryl L. Roberts of MSP,SRI,Chemical Engineering Degree,air particle monitoring for bio-chem-nuc weapons fame.If it is the same Roberts, AHAA!

Brown... told federal agents of his concerns that something may happen during his upcoming wedding.

This has been nagging at me. I am assuming it means he wanted out, due to his upcoming wedding, and feared they might not let him out.

Harbour may have feared Brown would go to the authorities, and went to confront him. Maybe he feared that if he waited until after the wedding, and the honeymoon trip from which Brown might not return, it would be too late.

Somebody stop me, I'm on a roll here.

I still like my "grand unified theory". A dealer in surplus military parts is in a perfect position to trans-ship high-tech weapons systems to third countries, with or without official approval. It takes an approved military surplus dealer, and someone on the inside to certify the equipment as "surplus". Oh, hey, maybe someone like a civilian lawyer for the Joint Forces Command.

Well, I dont know who answered the phone at Brown Helicopter.Maybe it was a relative. What article are you talking about?Any info I come up with is from the web,or very rarely, a phone call.Obits are on the net.Its difficult to match up the right one,though.I am assuming that no one would ever try to hit any of us with a "computer stalking" or "invasion of privacy" charge..All of the searching we do shows how big and how small the world is.Who would ever think that there are tons of people named William Harbour and Daryl L. Roberts ?
