Agreed. Let's keep the focus on American Muslims primarily those from the arabcountries and the subcontinent. 6-7 ethnic groupings of muslims around the world do exist; arabs, turks, iranians, afghan and the stans, southasia, indo-malay and those here in the US and europe.

'Muslims' does paint with a wide brush, but the jihadis seem most prevalent in the arab and pakistani communities in the USA, and to a lesser extent, those from india.
