Mr. Farber has no room in his heart, or his soul, for American Muslims who abhor, deride, denounce and want nothing to do with terrorists, of any kind. And who have said so loudly and publically and then must tolerate oafs who say "I didn't hear YOU!"

As an American Muslim, when I read of a skyjacker drinking in a Florida topless bar, I said out loud "that is No True Muslim!" "An imposter trying to hide behind something he doesn't follow!"

But Mr. Farber got his name in print, probably a fee for writing his article, and of course I believe in free speech. That's why I live here.

So where are the true muslims? Every time a muslim explodes his worthless self in an Israeli bus, "moderate" muslims declare him a "non-muslim" even as their obituaries praise them for being "martyrs". By condeming them, I am sure many muslims would declare YOU "an impostor trying to hide behind something you don't follow"

Mohammad Attah, the Skyjacker you refer to was a highly educated man who studied at western universites and spoke several languages. He was a serious islamic scholar. Mohammad Attah dedicated his life to Islam. He memorized the Koran. All his study and education led him to conclude that Allah desired him to kill thousands of Americans.

Having a drink is a moslem sin which in his mind, "allah" would forgive because of his terrorist act against America.

Or take the case of John Walker Lindh. Heres a guy from a completely different background who tries his best to find the heart of islam. His journey led him directly to osama bin laden and a loaded machine gun.

From what I see, your "allah" is a pathetic angry little fictional god.

Re: "that is No True Muslim!"

You can use many words to discribe these 19 people. Among them "Muslim".

"that is No True Muslim!" That's a matter for the clerics and the adherents to decide. What's good enough for me is that the jihadis claim the hijackers were true, pure muslims.

It's also true that the voices of those preaching hate, violence and calling for the destruction of America far outweigh those of people like you. It's not for us unbelievers to decide who's a true one or not. Those who claim they are, are.

Let’s see, Muslims highjack four US jet airplanes, and you don’t question if they are true Muslims.

Muslims use box cutters to slit the throats of passengers and flight crew and you don’t question if they are true Muslims

Muslims slam airplanes into buildings and kill 3,000 innocent people and you don’t ask if they are true Muslims.

But:”As an American Muslim, when I read of a skyjacker drinking in a Florida topless bar, I said out loud "that is No True Muslim!" "An imposter trying to hide behind something he doesn't follow!"

I understand. You are a true Muslim. What I think of you and your belief is not printable.

Mohammed is burning in Hell.

Seldom is a mohammedan heard decrying the mayhem committed in the name of that peculiar belief system. I will not be bothered if all of its adherents are held accountable for what only about a hundred million of the buggers do at any given time.

Granted.

I have no doubt you truly feel that way, but the real questions Muslims here don't seem to want answer are...

1)Where are the denunciations from the American mosques?
2)Where are the denunciations from Muslim-American groups in this country?

Why do only a few speak up??

I recall from another thread you were flying to Vienna to meet with a bunch of European (Eurotrash snobs) objectivists (pseudo Intelectuals).

What happened, the Airbus 300 couldn't get off the ground?

If Mohammed Atta could find justification for slaughtering thousands of infidels in that Islamic "Diary of a Madman" (The Koran), surely he could find a verse that covered taking a drink at a bar on the eve of said slaughter.

And lo and behold, here it is... "As for the faithful who do good works and believe what is revealed to Muhammad...He will forgive them their sins..." (Surah 47:1)

"Good works" being the throat slitting, hijacking and crashing of the planes, of course. It's all perfectly consistent with the teachings of Mohammed ("seek out your enemies", "kill the infidels", etc.).

If that isn't the religion you signed onto, I suggest you get out immediately.

That you had this reaction only upon learning that this murderer of 3000 innocent people had an alcoholic drink speaks volumes about your faith.

Nor do I, for I don't believe they exist, your protests to the contrary notwithstanding.

I don't believe you and will never trust a muslim! The religion teaches murder and rewards of virgins awaiting the perps after they've "martyred" themselves. Which is the same as saying after they've defecated in their baggy trousers!

If muslims want hate they're going to get it in spades!

As an American Muslim,....

...you cannot be trusted, because your koran tells you that all non-islamics are to be reverted or killed. Mr Farber is, unfortunately (as he laments, himself!), correct in his assessment.

My experience, gleaned primarily from living for 7 months in Iran back in the 70's, is that one-on-one y'all are OK. In a group, however, y'all are dangerous, even to yourselves.

I, like Mr Farber, am sorry to have to take this postition but, like the doctor husband character opposite Sally Fields in "Not without my daughter" (a movie - true story - about an American woman married to an Iranian muslim medical doctor who studied and matriculated here in the US), once you are surrounded by your "homies", you revert to the oppressive and violent rules called out by the koran.

Can you say, unequivocally and without reservation, and swear it before your allah, in public, that you would fight for this country or for your neighbor against an islamist jihad?

Better yet, let's just hear you go ahead and make said vow, and keep your hands where we can see them so we can tell you aren't crossing your fingers at the time! In fact, why aren't American muslims, like the American Germans, Italians, and Japanese during WWII, as described factually by Mr Farber, making this promise accross the board and freely? Where are the islamists true loyalties?

Unfortunately, and I truly wish this was NOT the case, I think the answer to that lies in the 9/11 experience, not in the fine-sounding words of one individual muslim not surrounded by his homies!

To all non-islamics anywhere in the world, here's my advice: Stay vigilent and stay armed!

If you read the newspapers from the Arab countries (all writing approved by the goverment)m and see the hate directed towards Jews and Christians, then what Mr Farber writes is entirely correct. Sad, but true.

What, both of them?

As an American Muslim, when I read of a skyjacker drinking in a Florida topless bar, I said out loud "that is No True Muslim!"

So it's the topless bar what bothers ya. If the SKYJACKER had instead prayed the night before murdering thousands of people, then his True Muslimness would remain intact in your eyes. Got it.
