Is she on the committee that was briefed on the information that was leaked? Whoever it is, when they are identified, at the very least, their respective houses of congress should vote to expell them. It won't happen in the Senate. There's no way that Daschle would fry one of his own and give up control of the Senate.

"Is she on the committee that was briefed on the information that was leaked?"

I could not say what other committees she is privy to but this is what I found, as for info she may have access, your guess is better than mine. She sure has made quite a few folks nervous though.

Cynthia McKinney

The Congressional Black Causus

House Committee on International Relations

House Committee on National Security

Georgia (D) - 4th Congressional District (Decatur, Stone Mountain, Lithonia)

Committees: Armed Services, International Relations

124 Cannon

House Office Building

Washington, DC 20515 202-225-1605

Capitol Hill (CNSNews.com) - A black conservative group is calling for the removal of Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D-Ga.) from the House Armed Services and International Relations Committees for allegedly having ties to terrorists or terrorist allies.

"Given the sensitive nature of the committees on which [McKinney] sits, the American people would be better served and rest easier at night reassured that [information from] the briefings this congresswoman might be privy to, does not end up in the wrong hands," the group's statement continued.

The AARLC is calling for a House Ethics Committee investigation into whether McKinney has "compromised her committees' assignments, is a friend of terrorists, has accepted funds from terrorists, aids and abets terrorists, committed treason in her oath to defend and protect the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic."

Martin says AARLC is also asking Rep. Eddie Bernie Johnson (D-Texas), chairwoman of the Congressional Black Caucus, to suspend McKinney from that group.
