Fear is their greatest weapon. Don't give in to it. Travel. See friends. Have celebrations. Go to public events (like Free Republic rallies in DC). Rub it in their noses that our lives didn't stop on 9/11.

Yeah, you're just a freaking GENIUS, aren't you??? I guess you WANT all 2 BILLION Muslims in the world hating and trying to kill us, rather than the *relatively* few who do so now?

Fool!!!

...a televised addressed

The AP should have proofread their story better before posting one with such an obvious grammatical error.

"America should get ready and fasten its safety belt," Abu Ghaith was quoted as saying. "We will come to them from where they don't expect. Yes, we will wage attacks, but at the right time, at the place we want and in the way we please."

I interpret this as the rough equivalent of a small cat backed into a corner by a huge dog, the cat baring its claws and its fur standing on end. It momentarily stuns the dog while it evaluates the threat. It's a more face-saving way of saying "we're not ready yet, but don't forget about us!". Bill Clinton does much the same thing when he spouts off on foreign policy. He just wants to stay relevant. But it doesn't mean he has any credibility.

If you choose to believe that it's a "relative few" that want us gone that's your problem.

The truth however is that the vast majority of the muslims in the middle east have been bitten by the militant bug and they would love nothing more than to wipe the U.S. out.

Once the dog is rabid there's no cure and you have to put it down.

Interesting that the photo of Bin Laden accompanying this tidbit is from October 7. The upcoming video will probably be a 'repeat' also

Johnny, take a deep breath. Stuff like that gets posted all the time because of everyone's frustration. What do you think the chances are that we would actually nuke Mecca? This is FR Compliment Weekend. Get in the spirit.

We'll know something's amiss when we see Forrest Gump wander into camera range. (Or Bert, or Tourist Guy). These tapes are practically instant urban legends.

Oh Great! another threat! Dang, I don't know about you people, but I am really getting weary of all the threats. "It is enevadable...the next attack will be really bad....We cannot avoid it...water, food, air are going to be poisoned....New York, L.A., Las Vegas are going to be blown up, the subways are going to be gassed, there will be attacks on Jews".....blah, blah, blah.

If there are a bunch of rag-heads reading this and you are going to do something....well... DO IT! The sooner you attack, the sooner the PC crowd will be religated to the trash heap of history and we will have sufficient excuse to nuke Mecca, Medina, Reee-haaaaahd, Bagdad, Amman, Ciro et al, as well as doing heavy duty profiling to cleanse our country of hostiles.

Nothing is going to get done re: homeland defense until the average citizen gets involved at the street level. The Feds and other authorities are all going to be too busy fighting for "turf",harassing the American Citizens because it easier than catching terriorists, chasing drug dealers, and "cracking down" on speed and seat belt scoflaws to be of much help. If you think that the New Homeland Defense Department is going to help...forget it. The Dept will be staffed top to bottom with the same old bureaucrats that have been in government since the beginning of time. They screwed up their old jobs, what makes you think that they can do any better in a new department?

PC dictates right now that we shall not profile and the PC crowd will not be silenced until the proper number of American Citizens are killed in attacks....so sad for us.
