After I learn to speak Spanish. And I am not good with languages. But this planet is not all about me. In any event, the speculation amuses me, and tweaks my interest.

The fact is that the Mexicans will only attack us, whether thorough illegal immigration or militarily, if we are weak. In that case, we deserve what we get.

They will take Arizona without firing a shot. Thanks to your Federal government.

No need to reword what I said. I'm sure at least 58% of Americans would like to see the U.S. stretch from the Arctic Circle to the tip of South America. But that is not the same as wanting to invade and take the land by force. Do 58% of Mexicans want to go to war with the U.S. over this issue? If so, what are they waiting for? Bring it on. Maybe I wouldn't have to go through customs for my next vacation to Cancun.

I have spoken to the native Americans in my family, they agree. We took it, we were stronger, they would have done the same, and if we lose it, we deserve it, it is up to us. Did we raise our children to be winners or whinners? Myself, I pray we raised Fighters, could you imagine living any other way besides the way we do. We are the greatest nation on earth, we need to show it instead of giving up, our ancestors would never give an inch, I like to think we would not either.

"This should be the Second American-Mexican War, but our leaders have decided to give it to them without a fight."

I like to think that President Bush has alternate plans of his own to not give in, but I think 'WE THE PEOPLE' should let him know where we stand, because if we are not behind him and let him know what we want, what is he to do? After all, that is what America is, the People, this is our nation, isn't it?

I should hope that Puerto Rico would not be admitted into the U.S. until they have demonstrated that they can be a contributor to the union and not a dependent. I would like to see PR admitted, but only under the proper conditions.
Well, that's just it. By treating the territory like a dependant it has become one. Not too many mainland Americans moving to Porto Rico (I love spelling it that way). Are there still more Porto Ricans in NYC than in Porto Rico?

Our other territories were always domains to be populated and dominated and absorbed into the Union. Porto Rico has been treated like an adopted child: be careful not to upset her, spoil the hell out of her, and write her out of the will.

Politically, the last thing we need is two more Democratic Senators. Nevertheless, it'd be good to see a modern demonstration of the power of federalism. The standing model hasn't worked.

Take a look at Canada. Quebec wants out and a majority of english speaking Canadians say good riddance. What makes you think that the divide between Chicanos and Gringos isn't as large? Have you lived around these "immigrants"? The children that we are spending a fortune to teach ESL to never use it except in class. Contrast this to most of our ancestors. Even 50 years ago the kids went home from school and taught their parents english. The Mexicans just look on this country as a place to make money. They have no allegiance or desire to assimilate. If you don't believe me watch one US vs Mexico soccer match. How many Americans of German descent do you suppose stayed up drinking to root for good old Germany? How many want a hyphen?

He is the leader. Is he so dense as not to know that Mexico has designs on our nation? Instead of supporting this nation, he is supportive of Fox's zaniness. He is supposed to be defending America, not Mexico.

The Mexican people are like the Palestinians, he said.

If a Palestinian eats a bean taco...will he explode?

I'm just as confused as the next person at the behavior of President Bush. I listened to Netunyahu tonight again and this poor man is stumped by our presidents easy going attitude toward Arafat. We have got to get President Bush to talk to us, let us know what he is thinking, if he has given up, then where does that leave his people?

Bush has either given up, as you say, or, he is busy selling everyone down the proverbial river, including the American people.

Come and take it?

That appears to be exactly what's happening, don't you think?
