Everytime a Mexican shoots at a US Border Patrolman, we inch closer to the inevitable war that will one day break out and wont' stop until there are a lot of people running back over the border.

I just wonder, if it ever came to that, which at this rate, and given the ever escalating volatility of the situation, it's entirely possible, what side the US government will take?
