Being as that you have lived in both California and Arizona, your present address, which state would you say is nicer to live in? Arizona by far. I miss the beach, but I can always visit. People out here are friendlier, but it's a climate that is changing as well.
Another thing I notice here, even though we have the problems on our Southern boarder, the "aztlan" movement isn't as viscious or hostile here....yet. Even though we are being overrun, the attitude in that regard is much more mellow here (compared to California). We don't have the "in your face" protests yet, nor do we have our lives threatened (yet) if you look at them (the aztlaners) the wrong way. Yet.

Yeah, ours aren't too in-your-face, yet. In Los Angeles, there must have been roughly ten Spanish FM radio stations, four independent Spanish television stations, as well as spanish newspapers and other Mexican publications. Assimilation doesn't appear to be working there, nor most places where large numbers of Mexicans are migrating.
