Well, I think it's best to consider all possibilities, but put your best efforts in the most likely ones.
Right now the parents would probably be delighted if all that happen was she ran off with a scumbag boyfriend. All other options seem worse.

I don't know if any of this stuff is true, but the Father and the uncle are very feminine acting, that is one of the first things I noticed.I think there is something very weird about this group too, just can't put my finger on what it is.
I had the gut feeling about Susan Smith also from the beginning, her tears seemed faked too.<br. I hope none of the things we might think are true, and that there is a stranger and that he returns her safe. I don't think that will happen though, sadly.

actually 'went' to their neighbors' houses first before calling police... The dad said he ran over to his neighbor's house to warn them to check on their own kids. He also said that that neighbor had a kidnapping attempt (?) back in the early 90's.
I believe this is significant, because he didn't mention it in earlier interviews, and now he throws it in. Maybe that's where he got the idea for this charade.
Liars just keep making their stories more complex, and the details just keep coming. People who are telling the truth have only the truth to tell. Liars have more options.
Btw, I trust the Nat'l Enquirer much more than the mainstream media. They have proven their value for getting to the facts first, and they have the g'nads to print the unflattering and unpopular.

PH is doing OK. He's just representing the dark side. He hasn't been abusive. All sides need to be considered.

The Edmunds thing has thrown me,junkies take stuff not kids.
To: John Jamieson
Not really. There is a difference between discussing the factual news, and speculation. PH sounds hardcore CTist.

Supposedly CNN just announced that they may have found a body at a construction site in SLC. This from alt.true-crime.

He's been very honest about the low quality of his information, not the usual operation of what I would call a disrupter. He also answers questions, again unusual.
To: BunnySlippers
Oh, no!
To: John Jamieson
I think the accusations must fly. Law enforcement sometimes blur the line between solving a case and preventing a death during a crime that is in progress.
In other words, do the police view themselves as crime historians or prtectors of the innocent?
As an example, in Los Angeles following the riots, we changed the motto for the LAPD from "To Protect and Serve" to "A tradition of Service."
This speaks volumes!

The way I see it if you don't buy into a FR members comments, then don't get sucked in by them by replying to them.

Other mittigating factors. (all rumor of course):
1. Elizabeth had a dramatic reduction in grades within the last six weeks. All A's to D's and F's.
2. She was scheduled to see a psychologist to discuss the abrupt change in behavior I haven't seen that anywhere...do you have the link or other source?

I think the accusations must fly. I concur.

Looks like we have a disrupter on board this thread, see Partisan Hack. I guess everyone needs a hobby...sigh... I'm sorry that I'm "disrupting" your reality that the "perfect" family has nothing to do with her dissapearance. IMHO their statements and demeaner to date completely lack credibility.
To: BunnySlippers
Looks like last night's dog story. OK
To: John Jamieson
False alaarm ... whew!
To: TheDon
"Factual news"
That's the best laugh I've had in a month!
To: BunnySlippers
I heard earlier that the "professional dogs" had found nothing today.

The Edmunds thing has thrown me,junkies take stuff not kids. They might take kids for money and/or things.
