BTW: Is anybody else reporting this? Not that I'm a cynic or anything (well, actually I am....) but this case has had so many single-source stories that turned out to be wrong, I'm hoping for some confirmation from another source.

Fox News Cable, MSNBC and CNN are not reporting this. They never interrupt their regular programing for any news on Sundays. I have to wait for my local news network and that usually reports only NY City.

They essentially cease to exist for most of the weekend. CNN airs a lot of news broadcasts on Sunday, but very little of it is fresh. While FNC was live for two solid hours about the surrounding of Arafat and this break in the Smart case, CNN only did token coverage of the Arafat thing and completely ignored the Smart news.
