I don't doubt that Zogby got inside dope from the Dems, particularly his brother.

I think he was given a heads-up on the DUI smear, which had the effect of a double play. It kept a portion of the Christian Right voters home, and it pulled a portion of swing voters to Gore.

Add in the fraud in certain big cities (Detroit, St. Louis, Palm Beach County, Philly), and there it was, a clear but close win.

However, Murphy snuck in and gave the Dems a surprise. The source of the DUI story got out, and it limited the effects of the DUI story. People could tell it was a smear, and that turned enough off to Gore that they sat at home or voted for Bush.

Hence, the razor-close win.

Thanks for returning the nicer Sabertooth!

Wanna know something funny? My numbers aren't scientific, but I never had a negative reaction to a particular Sabertooth (though some don't like any of them) until this one...

And the interesting thing is, just about 100% of those who didn't like it were Bush Babes, and all were women. Seriously, I dunno why, others liked it. So I use it on some of the other threads.

Cracks me up too, that the one below is now the "nice one."

IMHO, no poll taken before the President's speech on the middle east has any validity at all.

IMHO, no poll taken more than a few weeks before a major election has any validity at all.

24 hours after the election, to me it was obvious that Zogby had provided cover to "legitimatize" the Goron's voter fraud numbers.

Problem is, Zogby's superior projections in '96 over other pollsters give him a fair amount of credibility this time out... unless he was providing Dem cover back then?

But wasn't he tracking and projecting Dole higher than other polls in '96?

It was more than a trifecta. They announced on TV before the polls closed in Western Floriduh that GW had lost. That was part of their strategy and tactics. A lot of conservative voters in the Western part of Floriduh did not bother to vote.

Before our polls closed to legal voters out here, they were announcing that even without Cali, Goron had won. I called my son, wife, nephew and niece and told them if they didn't vote, they would be disenherited. 3 of the 4 had planned not to vote after hearing that the election was over. How many thousands of conservatives in kali decided not to vote based on that news?

My son then got on his cell phone on the way home from work and called co workers and friends on his way to vote to tell them to get off their butts and go vote and most did.

When he got to the polling place in eastern Contra Costra county, he was the only voter about 40 minutes before closing time. After the early announcement that Goron had won, people just stopped showing up in a conservative voting area. I'm sure that happened all over Cali.. Conservatives heard that Goron had won and didn't bother to vote. In the mean time polls were kept open in LA and SF to allow the dark siders at least one vote.

Hopefully one of these days we know the full extent of all their dirty tricks to try and steal that election.

I'm in L.A., in Democrat Brad Sherman's district, and live a half a block from the poll. I voted just before 8 pm, as they were getting ready to shut down. I've heard of overtime polls in East St. Louis, but not around here. Gotta source?

I don't like that one because it looks unnatural. It is pink and black, which are not tiger colors. Perhaps it is a matter of artistic taste. LOL!

As an old man, I don't remember Zogby's data/polls in the Dole election. I do know that we had massive voter fraud out here in Kali and a large part of it was the illegal alien votes in 1996 and the new citizens sworn in mass to vote.

I just remember Zogby being very squirrely in the last two weeks of the 2000 election. I was on a special email list, and some of the stuff coming from him in that last two weeks started to have the stink of a California/Field poll.

Then after the election, the Rats were citing and quoting him as being right on.

That meant that legitimate pollsters like the Battleground group were either dummies or something happened that none of the groups picked up in their last polls. I didn't buy that. To many reliable pollsters missed this so called last minute swing. It was not there.

Then you ask the $64 question, what did Goron do to get this hugh tidal wave of change? I saw nothing!

Then the reports from Philly, Floriduh, Wisconsin, St. Louis, LA, SF and other areas re massive voter fraud started to come in.

My old DNA alarm bell went off, and I felt that Zogby had provided cover for this massive attempt to steal our nation and to nullify our votes.

I still believe that Zogby was in on the coverup, and when this new Battlefield poll came out showing that 51% of those polled, said that they voted for GW in 2000. All of those bad memories came back up like a bad cheap meal.

It actually was reported by a freeper on election night. They/he voted in an apartment building, I think the one he lived in. He said that they were running voters in and through way past closing time. He was the first warning of this.

Then, we got reports of this happening in St Louis and it was rampant in SF. I heard that it happened in Oakland and have no proof on that.

Then there were some live pictures for a while on some of the news programs showing people waiting in line to vote in the LA area after the polls had closed and they were still voting. Those pictures were not shown again.

I went to bed knowing that we were in real big trouble re the voter fraud. I just didn't know how big.

I wonder what could possibly tick someone off on THIS thread?

They're Democrats?

You are keeping your arm in good shape it seems..... LOL

I agree with you that fraud occurred in the election as it does most times IMO. But I have a hard time buying into a nationwide scheme orchastrated by someone or a group. That's just like the NWO or Burger Builders ruling the world by jerking a few strings. Maybe it happens but I just don't buy into it. I agree that it can happen in selected areas and races....

The following is a listing of final polls and their calls......
