Interesting. Based on the Battleground Poll, I think Bush ought to try to get as many of his loyalists in the Senate and eventually take control of the Senate from the "weak sisters." The House is going to definitely be okay, since they work well with Bush already.

Too bad we won't be able to ditch Lott, but most of the rest of this stuff should eventually go our way, IMHO.

I am concerned with the Democrats' get out the vote machine (some think there is fraud involved, which there probably is to some extent but I have no way of knowing how much). It has been very efficient in recent elections. Will that continue, or will the old turnout models return? Or worse, will the Democrats get even better at mobilizing/mining votes?

I would be happier if more people volunteered with their local Republican committees to help out on election day.
