The root of ALL our problems is spiritual. Like God's chosen people of the Old Testament, we have turned our backs on Him and His Word, and are already beginning to reap the consequences. Some days I think we can get right with Him again; today I'm feeling pessimistic.

When viewing the "Ark of Hope", I'm reminded of Ezekiel 8 ( http://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/Eze/Eze008.html#1 ) and the abominations committed in the Temple, particularly this passage:

Then link over to Ezekiel 9. In 9:9-10 God is deploring the shedding of innocent blood in Israel (we have 40 million babies sacrificed on the altar of the god of "choice"). Note in Ezekiel 9:3-7, He commands one angel to put His "seal" on His followers, the ones who cry and sigh for all the abominations that are being done; these are to be protected when the other angels begin to slay everyone else - man, woman, and child who have not HIS "mark" (but the "mark" of the Beast ). Note also he tells the angels to start at His sanctuary.

Aside from a lot of APOSTATE Christianity being practiced today, some people don't believe there is a God. I implore anyone reading this who feels this way to TAKE THE ATHEIST TEST HERE at raycomfort.com. If a person read only a few chapter of the Old Testament, it would become really obvious what happens when people have a total disregard for the One who created ALL things. If there is to be ANY hope of a Free Republic, I am convinced the hope lies in the Holy Word.....you shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall set you Free. Outside of that, any other efforts to retain (reGAIN, IMHO) freedom are doomed.
