The voice of reason is a very refreshing but rarely heard sound on this subject.

The bias of the movie industry is so apparent that it might be laughable, if it didn't have the possibility of influencing thought. Did anybody notice that Sum of All Fears also changed the German terrorist group that was the pawn/ally of the Islamics into a right wing neo-Nazi group - instead of the left wing Red Brigades group they were in the book?

The reason Hollywood doesn't wish to be realistic about Islam is that the Palestinians and other Islamic terrorist forces are perceived as being left-wing in nature, and are thus the darlings of the European/American left and, of course, of Hollywood.

BTW, the Red Brigades are back, and recently killed a real hero who was working for the benefit and prosperity of all Italians to free up their frozen labor market.

I fear this is a pattern. The headline grabbing "success" of Islamic terror will invigorate hard left terrorists. It's the 70's all over again (w/o Jimmah "Double-Digit" Carter though, at least):

I agree...International Terrorism is the Left's latest justification for ever-expanding Federal and International--i.e. United Nations--Leviathans, and thereby the Enemy of all FReedom-loving sheeples!!

The other reason is that there are over a billion Muslims overseas, and overseas ticket sales make up a LOT of the profit margins of American films. Even in Europe, there are a lot of Muslims, and they can cause trouble at the theaters if they have an excuse
