Since Michael Skakel, who was actually only the NEPHEW of a woman who MARRIED into the Kennedy family, does that mean that my DAUGHTER, who is niece of a woman who was the common law wife of someone in Martha Stewart's family, is a STEWART?!?!?
Oh, my God, I'm so sorry. You'll have to disown her now. Cutting the ties may be difficult, but it's your only choice.
Try not answering her phone calls or her e-mails, and if she drops in on you, scoot out the back door. You definitely should cut her head out of all the family pictures, or at the very least replace it with a picture of someone else (a friend's mom uses the Pope, but maybe Charlize Theron?).
If none of that works, the "cut direct" is awfully harsh, but it only takes once or twice to get the point across.
(BTW, did I snap at you on another thread earlier today? If I did, my apologies.)

Spewing Miller Lite all over oneself is not deemed a good thing. (I checked her Website.)

Stewart's donor records showed no contributions to Republicans. And I was feeling sorry for her - up to now. That's over. No more "It's a good thing."

if you think about it, Martha is kind of a dream-Democrat. She gets to tell people how to act, what to wear, and what and how to eat. I bet the other lefty democrats are jealous of her. parsy.

she must have a way to get the stains out
To: redsoxallthewayintwothousand2
If she had, don't you think she'd have shared it with the Clintons?

That is a truly interesting story of Martha's brother. Thanks for sharing...
Little Martha Kostyra was one of six kids born, Byron writes, to a mother who was a ''coldly disengaged housewife'' and a ''self-absorbed narcissist'' father.

more miller lite spewing everywhere
To: PJ-Comix
As I recall, he was pleasant enough. He just had this sort of impish, malevolent smirk on his face. Seriously, that was my first impression when I met him.
Think of Billy Zane's character in the film Titanic. That's pretty close.

I want it to be understood that these are things I experienced firsthand.
However, my daughter who is now twelve and getting to be fairly wise in the ways of the world, went to Alabama with her mother for a visit last Christmas, and stayed with my former sister-in-law and her (and Frank's) daughter. The little girl talked about her "Aunt Martha" and "my daddy" incessantly, and her mother said to my ex-wife (in my daughter's hearing), "yeah, right, they act like she's not even alive."
I was not there, of course, and didn't see or hear any of this, but that's what my daughter tells me.

Actually, I don't detest her at all either completely. Hey, People who can make money being artsy are OK with me Altho' Im not too much into tabletop decour myself. I don't give a Rat'sArse what color the napkins are or if they are folded up to look like swans.
If nothing else, this whole thing demonstrates how silly our financial traders and market can get sometimes.
She will be OK and definitely won't end up in the poor house anytime soon.

''coldly disengaged housewife'' and a ''self-absorbed narcissist'' ... sounds like the clintoons

Federal Election Commission records reviewed by NewsMax.com showed that Stewart has given nearly $170,000 to Democratic Party accounts since 1992Stewart's donor records showed no contributions to Republicans
Reading these facts has rocketed me to a seat in the arena where Remember Fondly From My Childhood awaits the opening gates.
Insider trading.
That's what Hillary did with the Tyson trader.
Little people would be bankrupted defending themselves, then deep-sixed in a cell.
The comparison would be Patricia and Glenn Mendoza telling Clinton, "You suck!" in Chicago in 1996--then being grabbed by Secret Service, jailed and audited. While Rosie Out-and-loud-about-it yelled, "Dole sucks!" to a room of howling Hollyweirdos that year, and still gets her 300 lb carcass feted by media.
Let the snob be kabobbed on the skewers of Leno and Letterman and suffer the death of a thousand cuts--
--then take the foil against your scissors and pull it to create a lovely silver curl gracing your aluminum foil tiara which will protect you from the rude barbs of the bourgeoisie--and that's a good thing.

She'll make a good "wife" to some woman in prison......
