Hey, something just occurred to me! Since Michael Skakel, who was actually only the NEPHEW of a woman who MARRIED into the Kennedy family, does that mean that my DAUGHTER, who is niece of a woman who was the common law wife of someone in Martha Stewart's family, is a STEWART?!?!?

Oh, my God, I'm so sorry. You'll have to disown her now. Cutting the ties may be difficult, but it's your only choice.

Try not answering her phone calls or her e-mails, and if she drops in on you, scoot out the back door. You definitely should cut her head out of all the family pictures, or at the very least replace it with a picture of someone else (a friend's mom uses the Pope, but maybe Charlize Theron?).

If none of that works, the "cut direct" is awfully harsh, but it only takes once or twice to get the point across.
