I chuckle everytime someone asks me if there is anything other than a "Northern Yankee"?
Not that I know of... Of course then I often wonder if there's anything other than a Southern Belle?
Actually...we have southern girls that gave up on the "belle" part long ago. Likewise having lived in the North a number of years I can attest that perhaps a majority of Northerners especially in the NYC area are definitely not Yankees...they are or were...foreigners.
