Das Boot... except that most Americans are not aware of the fact that Das Boot is actually - a television SERIES, lasting something like 12 hours!
The best parts of these were spliced together into the movie that was released... the full 12 hours is even better than the movie. If anybody knows WHERE one can buy the whole series on DVD, PLEASE let me know...
If you get an answer, please pass it along to me : My DH has several versions of Das Boot including the director's cut, and he'd love to have an even more complete version.
