President Bush headed to Arizona early today to get a first hand view of the Rodeo-Chediski wildfire. Bush thanked the firefighters for their hard work, and told an audience that a home lost to a forest fire, is one home too many.
After Arizona, Bush headed to Calgary, Alberta Canada to attend the G-8 summit where the top of discussion is expected to be the war on terrorism. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

QUOTE OF THE DAY: People that are just working their hearts out on behalf of their fellow citizens, you can look in their eyes and see the exhaustion. But I can assure you, having talked to them, and I know you have as well, they're not quitting until this thing is whipped. And I hope that makes you feel somewhat better, to know there's a lot of people out there working their heart out on your behalf.
Both of these were so good, I had to post them both!

Ohmigosh. I'm actually here when the posts are under 200!
RWP, you are such a gem to do this for us. Even though I often don't get to read the threads until the next day, I feel so close to everyone here. Bush Babes rock!
To: rintense
I haven't told you Thank You in awhile for posting this thread.
God Bless President Bush.

A room full of real men. :o) The thing that strikes me about the pictures with the firefighters is how completely comfortable and at home he looks with these men, and how you can easily see how much they like him.

President Bush really connects with real people. I melted in my shoes looking at that white cowboy hat picture!
A certain unnamed former president would have been there with quivering lip instead of lifting these people up and motivating them to give another 10 percent on top of the 100 percent they're already giving.
To: homeschool mama
Exactly so, and they look like they understand each other!
