Other outcomes include stripping Christmas of national and state holiday status - the banks and the courts must be open on December 25; elimination of all military chaplains; elimination of all religious symbols in military cemeteries; elimination of tax free status for all religious institutions including somewhat covert churches like the Salvation Army; elimination by state law of licensing any religious practioner to conduct legal marriages; elimination of any tax free status for a religiously sponsored college or university like Notre Dame, Baylor, SMU, University of Chicago, Peppardine, Yeshiva University, etc.
