Your observation is full of logic, and therein lies its weakness. The Dems are like a cult, as Ann Coulter noted, and they are immune to logic. The middle, or undecided voter, is by their very nature illogical and wishy-washy. As long as the media continue to function as part of the DNC there is little hope that logic will prevail. The integrity and charisma of George Bush is the strongest thing the Republicans have going for them, not facts and logic. Because of that, the Dems will increase their personal assaults on Bush.

Lots of wisdom and truth in your post. The only reason we got Reagan was because the economy was a shambles, crime was rampant, gas lines and prices staggering, and Russians in Afghanistan and Nicaragua and hostages in Iran all over the TV every night. This stuff all hit the Democrats at once in 1979-80. They had chased Nixon out of office and ruled like they were all Kennedy's up until then, but for once their idiotic policies all came crashing down on them at the same time. That's what it takes to get mushy moderates to vote conservative.

Then as soon as things start to get cleaned up, they run back to the Crats for more socialism.
