The FBI had agents/informants in McVeigh's cell for years. It knew exactly what was going to happen and, in trying to make a PR event out of it, missed. The truck bomb ignited stuff that was being stored in the building. The FBI still has 1000s of pages of documents that are still secret and would show they they knew and could have stopped thebombing. We'll never see them now because of stories like this. Now, they aren't being hidden to cover the FBI's butt, they are being hidden in the national interest to conceal intellegence sources providing potential information on terrorist activities.

We have the DemocRAT President cover up the foreign connection to the OKC bombing, so that he could use it to beat up his domestic political opponents. It's just SEX, it doesn't matter.

Then you have the GOP via FBI Governor of Oklahoma, Frank Keating, also covering up the bombing. Why did Frankie-boy go along with this. My guess is that he is simply psychologically and authoritarian butt-kisser, who kiss any superiors butt for any cause. Frankie is now kissing Catholic Bishop's butts in a cover up commission for the Church.
