Typically, the usual suspects come together in the end. Remember that Bush, Sr. was a leader in both the Marxist Council on Foreign Relations that gave us Bush Jr.'s Condoleeza Rice, his National Security Adviser, and the secret, totalitarian Trilateral Commission that hired Jimmy Carter as President. The same people are running the show. Look for Bush/Carter to whipsaw the nation between them, in a scheme to lift the embargo on Cuba.
It's hard to be a bigger jackass than Carter, but the author of this article has succeeded.

This article is pathetic and an embarrassment. Carter had no power to change the text of the treaty unilaterally, which seems to be the basis of the charge (ie that he misled the senate). If this charge had any validity, why haven't all the right wing publications picked up on this previously? Carter is not a traitor, he is just misguided and doesn't get much fire power going per point of his IQ. This piece is a turd on the carpet of this site.

Carter is a traitor for different reasons than stated. His unseemly and increasingly frantic quest for the Nobel Peace Prize before he shucks his last peanut has driven him--time after time--to sell his country out.
His trip to North Korea is, IMHO, the most heinous of his numerous acts of perfidy.

Please explain why tiny Cuba is a problem when massive Red China, which is now replacing more and more of our industrial capacity with its slave labor, is now a "most favored nation" and we even just offered to make that permanent?

My thoughts exactly!

"Carter is a traitor for different reasons than stated. His unseemly and increasingly frantic quest for the Nobel Peace Prize before he shucks his last peanut has driven him--time after time--to sell his country out."I agree. Carter is an idiot and does his best to bad mouth America. But he doesn't have the intellect to be part of any conspiracy to take over the world. Hell, he couldn't even get reelected.

than he was when we first heard that a man named Jimmy was running for President of the United States. Yes, I know he hails from the South, but even Sleazy Bill--another traitor--doesn't call himself Billy. Actually, former President Carter asked reporters to refer to him as James, but they ignored his request. Just goes to show, you have no control over what people call you, from birth to death. (regardless, Carter is an idiot)

He got attacked by a rabbit.
A rabbit.
Forget the trilateral commission, Cuba and all that, if rabbits can't stand the man then that's all the evidence I need.

My brother is an U.S.A.F. JAG officer, and one of the last soldiers out of Panama prior to the Canal being turned over. He told me about how the rat bastard ChiComs had been buying up all the land they could on the Canal, and were all over the place. Gee, what do you think they're doing that for?
Because this dickweed hasn't been president in over 20 years, he's not often in the forefront of my mind. But I firmly believe he was a worse president than Clinton ever dreamed of and did far more damage to our country. Clinton was in it for himself, but Carter actually believed the crap he spewed - if we be nice, then other countries will be nice back to us. A--hole!

Actually, former President Carter asked reporters to refer to him as James, but they ignored his request. Bullshit...
He always asked that he be called "Jimmy"
Always.
Every Georgian knows this.

In a short bio about him, this was mentioned. I saw the show on network TV years ago, but still after he was booted from office.
Perhaps I foolishly trusted the show at it's word. But I remember the remark clearly and even at my young age at the time it stuck with me (maybe becuase my sister wanted to be called Cindy, but my father wanted her called Cynthia).
Now, if you want to disagree with me, at least be civil about it.

maybe because my sister wanted to be called Cindy, but my father wanted her called Cynthia). My father did the same thing to MY sister Cindy...no lie
Sorry if you thought I was being uncivil (not intended) but it used to be a BIG story when Carter was running that it was JIMMY...never James.
I can't imagine any story getting something so basic so wrong.

Hey Mr. Sea! Where did you come from? The moon? Where do you get this crap from? I'm just a professional sailor, but over the course of about twenty years, have made about 16 trips per year through the big ditch and was interested enough to learn the history and the then administration of the canal! The US never owned the Panama Canal. It was under lease dummy! You know; that's like when you rent your apartment! You don't get to keep it!

JIMMY CARTER: TRAITOR THE COMMUNISTS LOVE THEIR PAWN
And not a mention of Senator Henry Bellmon, Republican of Oklahoma.
While we are justifiably criticizing Carter The Communist for losing the Panama Canal,
it's only fair to let former Senator Bellmon have it, but good.
Which is sad...I like Bellmon as a two-time governor...but he made some sort
of quid pro quo deal with Satan when he voted to end US control over the Canal Zone.

Carter, like Clinton, is a failure looking for a legacy. History already looks at Carter as a joke for a president. He is mediocracy bordering on ineptitude with a smiley face.
