***GWB: Indcredibly Great President....The World Lucked Out***
Startdate: 0206.30
Posted on 06/30/2002 9:15:50 AM PDT by The Wizard
Reflecting over the past 1 and a half years one can only thank the Lord that GWB was elected President
1. The message it sent to the world was that the hill billy days of crime and corruption was finally defeated
2. Taxes were cut and the people finally had someone in government who wasn't trying to pick their pockets.
3. When attacked a man was in office who had the balls and brians to handle the crisis with the aggressiveness needed to bully bullies.
4. Time and again GWB has risen to the problem or challange in a sterling way the old hill billy crowd would never have considered: honestly without a finger in the air....
In short...America has an elected person who has his own beliefs and standards, and reflects old time American Values.....
As a footnote to all this may I endorse something Rush said this week....turn off the news for a week or two.....relax and let Bush run the country...he can do it.
Take the Senate back from the enemies of America
It's clear that the democrap party has become and enemy of the country, and no longer even pretends to do things that are good for America....I don't think the democraps can be actually arrested, but they should certainly be removed by ballot

Who says miricles are not possible? Dubya still needs the unwavering support of a sufficient number of his countrymen, so we must work as if it all depended on ourselves alone, and pray as if it depended on the Lord alone.
And never, never forget the broken glass that will continue to be scattered in your path. It is but a barrier that will have to be crossed again and again, testing the most resolute of wills.

I firmly believe this to be true. During the Florida fiasco I had the most dreadful feeling that it was EXTREMELY important that Bush prevail. I thought it was just some personal feeling, after Sept. 11th, I knew it was a premonition.
Here's another miracle related to all this: everyone wonders why we had such a mild winter in the Northeast, I think it was God permitting the work teams at the World Trade Center an easier and more effiecient time. And with all the talk of drought, we had some massive rains just as the work at WTC was being concluded.
God continues to bless America, because He knows we love Him, and we strive to be good.

Oh, what a wonderful article and I love the line about turning off the TV and letting GWB run the country. Yes, he can do it. Never doubted he could. The Libs only tried to make him out as a dim bulb when they couldn't come up with anything else. Wasn't it so funny to see all the Clinton people come on and attack GWB? They had to resort to name calling...imagine that! I think before some of them called GWB a dim bulb...I think they should have looked in the mirror first to see what a dim bulb REALLY looked like! God bless GWB

And every day I hope he will just plain ole shut up. But...I guess the more he talks the more he removes all doubt that he is indeed a fool. Give it up Mr. Gore...you lost. For God's sakes man...you LOST accept it and move on with some sense of dignity in your life. And by the way Al, stop using the phrase: "I'll FIGHT for you." My God man, you say that phrase with such anger and you shake your fist and on and on and on. No need to FIGHT! Why the battle term all the time anyway? We have enough battles out there that are pressing enough and GWB is handling all of them well. Here is a President finally that allows prayer to help guide him and does what is right for the American people...he is not a "good time President" as Clintoon was once referred to or a "Poll driven President." Sorry Dems...what you have here is the real deal and we are all better for it. So Kerry, Gore, Sillary and the rest of the gang...shhhhhh, hush, be quiet, silence yourselves and let a REAL administration do the work they were intended to do.

We are extremely fortunate to have Dubya in charge. After electing x42 twice we didn't deserve him, but thank God GWB is our president during these trying times.

I agree with you. Bush is well loved by many, and he deserves it. I have to admitt it, but during election time, I didn't like him. I read him the wrong way. Now I love him. I am so happy he is the President.
I was just talking to my father on the phone over this very thing. We literally just ended the phone call before I got on the internet!
I was telling my dad, "Remember how people used to say Bush wasn't smart? Well, the truth is, Bush is very smart, even smarter then his dad!"
Looking back, the reasons why I didn't like him, are now exactly the reasons why I love him now!
I agree, God is being good to this country, to allow someone like GWB to be President during times like these!

Rush also called Gephardt a "bug-eyed weasel" this week.

I was telling my dad, "Remember how people used to say Bush wasn't smart? Well, the truth is, Bush is very smart, even smarter then his dad!" Yessirreeebob! Just like the Wiz stated above: "a man was in office who had the balls and brians to handle the crisis..."
Thank goodness Dubya has "brians"... whatever they are.
To: The Wizard
I agree with you, we will probably get flamed, thank God for G. W. Bush!

I'm not sure I'm in line with all the "Yessireeebobs" and "boyhowdys," but I'm glad I have a President who says "Don't F^^k with me, or I'll kick your @ss."
I kinda' like that...
