Economic development is the key. Once Palestinians discover "Western" treats, goods, and services... they will soften. Can anyone tell me if Palestinians support gambling? Also could an international economic advisor team be sent, just as Russia was "taught" the modern Western ways of doing business after the USSR fell?

Its not as simple an equation as Doron draws. The basic problem is Palestinian terrorism and poverty are not correlated. In fact the obverse is true. In general when an Arab becomes middle to upper class, he is likely to be even more radical and extreme than a poor Arab. Transforming the Palestinians into a healthy market society is not going to extinguish terrorism unless the temptations to radicalism are also cured and the problem is how to extinguish them at the same time Arabs are becoming educated and prosperous.
