I think what we're seeing is actually something of a splinter in the democrat party.
The democrat party is sort of a combination of anti-american wackos, environuts, and socialists.
It seems like now that the anti-american wackos are in trouble in most of America (the exception being Lee in California).

"Clearly, people who support the policies important to Israel can expect support from Jewish donors," he says. If at all true, Jews and Jewish money would be overwhelmingly supporting Repubicans. The second most anti-Jewish group in the U.S. has to Jews. (Just behind Blacks.)

"Many African-Americans were not pleased with the manner of Jewish influence in the African-American district. I don't think that they're going to be pleased with that influence in Cynthia McKinney's district, or Jesse Jackson, or Don Payne or anybody else that represents a predominantly African-American district." Why, Mr. Hilliard, is that "Jewish influence" so objectionable, and all the out-of-state donations to you and McKinney not objectionable?
