So... He was
not speaking 'from the heart' last time? What part of his body was he speaking from? Seriously, he was fifty-some years old in 2000, running for the most important office in the world, the winning of which would be the summit of his - or anyone's - career. His
entire life has been about winning the White House. And he says he
wasn't speaking from the heart?
I think this man was not, and is not, ready for the White house.

To paraphrase GWB, he asked:
"Gore colors his hair. What does that tell you about the man? It means he isn't comfortable with himself. It means he doesn't know who he is."

And this time he really means it! It's the real Al now! From Charlie McCarthy to Mortimer Snerd in one election cycle............. LOL.

"Let it rip."
I said it before, and I'll say it again: I could swear he was talking about the seat of his pants.

Do you recall the Newsweek article, where the journalists were allowed great access to both campaigns. Gore actually admitted, candidly, that for Bush it was different as it was obvious that he could take the Presidency or he could leave it. Gore literally said that he would do whatever it took to win.
People who need an elected office to fill a psychological or emotional hole within them by definition are the most unfit people to serve in that office. It makes for an unstable person who will go to destructive lengths to have victory.

Each year has its own dynamic after all and I'm just saying that we ought to not sell Gore short. Common Tator has pointed out that he -Gore- got more votes than any Dem in history.Yeah, it's amazing how well Albore did in the last election; his only advantage was the huge number of votes cast by illegal aliens, non-citizens, criminals and the dead.
