I would not sell Gore short. I'm reminded of the "new Nixon" who was able to remake his image enough to become President.....are you old enough to recall Nixon on "laugh-in" and his 'sock it to me'?

Nixon only became president because of the crisis created by LBJ. There is no current crisis to justify changing presidents.
